Testing and Mold Removal Portmouth NH & Newburyport MA                                     Mold is a Serious Health Problem – Take Immediate Action.

Have you been suffering from frequent sinus problems or recurring eye or ear infections? Do your employees seem to have colds that don't go away? Do you feel physically worse when you are at home than when you are away? These are some of the physical symptoms of illness caused by exposure to mold in the home or workplace.

Why Does Mold Form?

Mold needs two things to grow: moisture and food. A leaking water pipe, a seasonal flood, or high humidity combined with poor air circulation can give mold the moisture it needs to feed on carpeting or carpet padding, sheetrock, wallpaper or old insulation.

What Kind of Mold Do You Have?

There are five common types of mold in our area of Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Most people have heard of toxic black mold, but that's not the only one that can hurt your health. Some molds are not harmful in small amounts, but can very harmful in larger amounts, particularly for the very young and older people with poor immune systems.

At AM-PM Janitorial Sales and Service, we have been doing mold remediation work since 2007. We are certified mold assessors and can do mold testing to identify the exact mold(s) in your home or office.

Mold Remediation and Mold Clearances

If you can see visible mold on your walls, ceiling or floor, you know you have a problem but it may be much worse than you think. We begin our mold remediation work by getting an accurate measurement of spores that can tell us the true scope of the problem (as you can see form the picture, it can form behind baseboards and under wallpaper).

Once we've moisture mapped the affected area, we will present you with an action plan describing the steps we can take for mold removal.

To minimize your contact to hazardous mold, we set up a containment area. We then sanitize the affected surfaces and use a HEPA vacuum and air sanitizing spray. We use anti-bacterial and anti-viral treatments for mold decontamination. And finally, we remove odors. We do a final post-test of your home or office to see that no additional mold is present.
